Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Docufolo app for iPhone and iPad ("Docufolo", "the app") and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Docufolo is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If they conflict, the Standard EULA applies.

2. Docufolo Pro

Docufolo is free to download. You can create up to 10 documents for free. Docufolo Pro unlocks unlimited documents and additional features such as text recognition search, signatures and markup, and searchable PDF exports. Pro is available as:

• Monthly or yearly subscriptions, which renew automatically.
• A lifetime purchase, a one-time payment that is not a subscription.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

3. Subscriptions and free trials

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions), or from Settings › Manage Subscription in the app.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Your content

You own the documents you scan and create. They are stored on your device, and you are responsible for keeping backups of anything important. You agree to use Docufolo only for lawful purposes and not to scan, copy or share content you don't have the right to use.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. We'll try to keep the app reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Docufolo is not responsible for decisions made based on scanned or recognized content. Always check important documents, such as legal, financial or identity documents, for accuracy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docufolo and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we do, we will change the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new Terms.
