Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

In short: Docufolo does not collect, store or share your personal data. Your documents are scanned, processed and stored on your device. We don't use accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.

This policy explains how the Docufolo app for iPhone and iPad ("Docufolo", "the app", "we") handles information. It applies to the app and to this website.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data. Docufolo has no user accounts and does not send your documents, images, recognized text, signatures or usage information to us or to any third party. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software.

2. Your documents stay on your device

3. Permissions the app uses

4. Sharing and exporting

Documents leave the app only when you choose to share or export them (for example with AirDrop, Mail, Messages, Files or other apps). What happens after that is governed by the app or service you share with.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email or payment details. The app receives a transaction record from Apple only to confirm that Docufolo Pro is unlocked on your device. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Backups

If you back up your device with iCloud Backup or to a computer, those backups may include Docufolo's data. Backups are managed by Apple and by you, not by us.

7. Deleting your data

Deleted documents move to Recently Deleted and are removed permanently after 30 days, or immediately if you delete them from there. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

8. Children

Docufolo does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
