Frequently asked questions
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Scanning, text recognition and PDF creation happen on your device, and your documents are stored in the app on your device. They only leave it when you share or export them.
How do I scan more than one page?
Tap Scan and keep capturing pages, then tap Save. To add pages to an existing document, open it, tap Edit, then the + button in the page strip.
How do I turn a photo into a PDF?
Tap the photo button next to Scan (or Import on the home screen) and choose your photos. Docufolo finds the document in each photo and crops it. Tap Save, then Share PDF.
How do I copy text from a scan?
Open the document, tap the ••• menu and choose Recognized Text. Text recognition and search are part of Docufolo Pro.
How do I sign a document?
Tap Sign on the home screen, or open a document, tap Edit, then Markup. Draw your signature once and place it anywhere. Signatures are part of Docufolo Pro.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Docufolo. You can also open Docufolo › Settings › Manage Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or period ends to avoid being charged.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked.
Open Docufolo › Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy.
I deleted a document by mistake.
Deleted documents stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Find it on the home screen under Folders and tap Recover.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
